For most Chrome users, extensions are like a little assistant that helps you complete tasks fast straight from your browser and is with you along your internet journey. That’s why I-ON prepared a special Chrome extension for all Chrome users - now you can organize your entire address book in a few minutes with just one click.
How to Install Contact Editor?
1. Add the extension
You will be asked to confirm your choice like in the picture below and you’re set to go!
Contact Editor has been added to your Chrome browser and you can start organizing your contacts right away. The first step is of course, connecting it to your Google account!
2. Link your Google account to Contact Editor
Execute the extension by clicking on the Contact Editor icon in the right upper corner of your Chrome browser.
All that’s left is to enter your Google account details in the following window.
You don’t have to make a separate account, you can connect your current account regardless of which address book you are currently using, whether you are Android, iPhone user or are using a separate address book provided by your telecommunication company.
And….. that’s it! You are all set to start exploring.
If you are a user who saved the contacts on your phone to your Google account, your contacts will be synced with Contact Editor and you will see the following screen upon login.
This is a screenshot of Contact Editor. You can see all your contacts at a glance. The contacts are displayed in a spreadsheet format for your ease and convenience while doing bulk editing or rearranging contacts in your account.
In case you get the blank screen like below, don’t panic!
Since Contact Editor is Google contacts editor, the blank page will appear if you haven’t linked the contacts on your phone to your Google account. But don’t worry because syncing the contacts between your phone and Google is a piece of cake.
Messy address book, incorrect contact details, switched names and phone numbers are a thing of the past.
