Sync the address book on your phone to your Google account

Android users who linked the contacts on their phone to their Google account will automatically have their contacts displayed in Contact Editor upon logging in.

Why do some people get a blank screen upon logging in?

Some users get a blank screen after they login for the first time to Contact Editor.
No reason to worry!

The blank screen will appear to users who haven’t linked their phone contacts to their Google account.

But syncing the contacts between your phone and Google is an easy process and can be done in just a few simple steps.


Syncing contacts on Android phones


1) Go to Google Play app store​
2) Search for ‘Contacts’ or 'Google Contacts' in the search box
3) Click on Install 
4) Open and allow access to the app 
 

Your contacts are now synced to your Google account!
You can run the Contact Editor extension and start organizing.



Contact Editor will now display all your contacts.

Syncing contacts on iPhone


1) Go to App store
2) Search for 'Google Drive’ in the search box
3) Open the app and click on the 3 line icon in the top bar, and then choose Settings > Backup
 
4) Choose ‘Contacts’ and perform a backup
5) When the backup is complete, run Contact Editor


Your contacts are now synced to Google and displayed in Contact Editor.

And you’re done!

Now each time you log in to Contact Editor, all the contacts will be displayed.

Forget about the time consuming address book organizing.

You can now modify all your contacts - with a click!
