So far we focused on editing your mobile phone contacts for the sake of organizing your contact list.
Today we want to do something different: We will focus on Gmail users.
Since Contact Editor organizes your Google contacts and your Google contacts are connected to your gmail account, we hope you find this posting useful and helpful.
How it works
When sending an email, you have to choose a sender and enter the email address. Since google contacts and Gmail are connected, as you start typing, Gmail will recommend the contacts from the Google address book.

Contacts that appear in Gmail
If you’re using Gmail frequently, you’ve probably realized by now that Gmail does not recommend only the contacts that you manually entered into your address book. As you type in the recipient’s email, Gmail will recommend contacts that are not stored in your contact list as well.
Gmail will recommend:
- contacts that you saved in your Google address book
- contacts that Gmail gathered when sending and receiving emails
If you go to Google Contacts contacts.google.com and login, you can see all automatically collected contacts in the Other contacts tab.
[Automatically collected Google contacts]
Since these contacts are automatically collected, they are probably stored without any criteria or with incomplete information.
Which is why it's recommended to edit/organize these contacts as well.

Edit “Other contacts” in Contact Editor
1. Login to Contact Editor
[Contact Editor]
2. From the blue menu bar choose “Other address book”
[Access “Other address book” in Contact Editor]
3. All contacts stored in “Other address book” will now be displayed in Contact Editor and you can start editing
*For your reference, contacts in “Other address book” will not sync with your mobile phone. If you want to sync them, you have to install Gmail app and use the contacts there.
The reason why Google Contacts is recommended so much is mainly this: it works for both iPhone and Android users, and it offers a mobile app that works well with each OS. There is also an “Undo changes” option that can revert your contact list to how it was before any edits are made in case you make a mistake while editing or save incorrect information.

I hope that from now on, you can use Contact Editor to not only manage your mobile phone contacts, but also contacts that you communicate with through Gmail!
Don't wait, click on the banners below to install Contact Editor and organize your contacts!
